TrustCB has been chosen by FeliCa Networks as the centralised Certification Body for the FeliCa™ Approval for Security and Trust (FAST) security certification scheme. As such, TrustCB is entrusted by FeliCa Networks to determine whether the evaluation activities demonstrate the TOE meets the same level of security vulnerability analysis and testing as required for Common Criteria EAL4 + ALC_DVS.2 + AVA_VAN.5 or EAL5 + ALC_DVS.2 + AVA_VAN.5, according to TOE type.

The FAST scheme is aimed at service providers who deploy FeliCa Contactless IC Card Technology products for their services,

The Target of Evaluation for certification (TOE) may be a FeliCa enabled IC card, or a Felica Crypto Library to be used in composition with a pre-evaluated Mobile FeliCa Applet.

The current valid versions of FAST are:

• FAST v3.0: for Crypto Library developers
• FAST v2.0: for Card developers

FAST v2.0 is also applicable for Applet development by FeliCa Networks and for maintenance of certified FAST v2.0 Crypto Library products. Renewal of Crypto Library under FAST v2.0 is permitted.
